| Welcome and thank you for visiting my web site. Like so many people, I have two careers that exist side by side and often overlap. Stemming from my work as an actress and acting coach, one involves the world of entertainment and theater, the other the business world of training speakers to connect with the public.

PUBLIC SPEAKING AND PRESENTATION SKILLS:
I developed this program working with actors to overcome stage fright. The process was so effective and worked so well in the acting arena, I began to get inquiries from business professionals asking if I could help them as well. What I did not know at the time was that the terror of public speaking is and remains the number one fear in the USA.
In the business and corporate world, I observed that business professionals often lacked certain skills that come naturally through acting training: the ability to communicate information and to be at ease in front of an audience. Once effective communication skills were acquired, the fears greatly diminished or vanished altogether.
Adapting techniques I devised coaching actors, I developed methods giving people tools they need to succeed in presenting themselves to the world.
And it works.

For starters:
Because many enter this arena with trepidation, we begin in a safe and comfortable environment.
Most speakers get themselves into trouble when, feeling they have to act the part of the speaker, they are not being themselves. This contributes to paralyzing fear. When you try to be someone you are not, it feels artificial and uncomfortable. And it is ultimately self-defeating. Only when we stop trying to be someone we are not, will we have the energy, power and concentration available to communicate comfortably.
Remember, audiences leave your presentation with an impression of what they've seen and heard. When presenters are themselves, they project a sincerity that helps get the message across.
Here's how I work:
- I start by creating that safe environment.
- I teach specific communication tools so that participants understand just what it is they want to express.
- I show how to interact with the audience to achieve that objective.
Ultimate Goal: To project your true self and thus remove the walls between you and your audience so successful communication can take place.
Each session is individualized to the needs of the client(s). Videotaped playback is used so you can see the results.
